Overnight flight to Berlin, Germany.

Arrive at Berlin airport.  Spend the remainder of the day touring Berlin, including the Brandenberg Gate, the Reichstag, and the Memorial to Murdered Jews.  Dinner and overnight in Berlin.

 Continue your tour of Berlin from different historical periods, including the Holocaust Memorial, the Topography of Terror Exhibition and the Berlin Wall Memorial at Bernauer Straße.  Dinner and overnight in Berlin.

Depart for Wittenberg, and enjoy visits to St. Mary's, the first established Protestant Church, the Augusteum monastery where Luther first lived as a monk and later lived with his family, and the Castle Church, site of Martin Luther's grave and the famous door on which he nailed his 95 Theses.  End the day at the renowned oak tree where the Reformer burned the papal document declaring his excommunication.  Dinner and overnight in Wittenberg.

 Depart to Erfurt to visit the St. Augustine Monastery where Martin Luther lived as a monk for seven years, and the mighty cathedral of Erfurt, where Luther was ordained.  Dinner and overnight in Erfurt.

Head to Eisenach to learn about the composer J.S. Bach during a visit to the “Bach House". Then visit Wartburg Castle where Martin Luther translated the New Testament into the German language and had a profound impact not only on Germany but on the entire continent of Europe.  Dinner and overnight in Erfurt.

 Depart to Nuremberg, with a stop at the site of the Flossenbürg Concentration Camp where Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer, one of the most prominent members of the resistance against Hitler, was sentenced to death on April 8, 1945.  Dinner and overnight in Nuremberg.

  Visit Soldiers Field, where the massive Nazi rallies were held, and the Nuremberg Courthouse, location of the military tribunals held after World War II to prosecute key leaders of Nazi Germany.  Then take a walking tour of the old town in Nuremberg.  Dinner and overnight in Nuremberg.

Depart to Regensburg on the Danube River and spend the day visiting the Cathedral and places related to the Colloquy of Ratisbon, a conference held at Regensburg (medieval name Ratisbon) in the year 1541 that focused on the different views held by Protestants and Catholics of justification by faith and the sacraments.  Dinner and overnight in Regensburg.

Spend some time at the concentration camp of Dachau, called "the mother of concentration camps“ because it served as a model for all other concentration camps.  Dinner and overnight in Regensburg.
