Depart to Erfurt to visit the St. Augustine Monastery where Martin Luther lived as a monk for seven years, and the mighty cathedral of Erfurt, where Luther was ordained. Dinner and overnight in Erfurt.
Head to Eisenach to learn about the composer J.S. Bach during a visit to the “Bach House". Then visit Wartburg Castle where Martin Luther translated the New Testament into the German language and had a profound impact not only on Germany but on the entire continent of Europe. Depart to Nuremberg, with a stop at the site of the Flossenbürg Concentration Camp where Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer, one of the most prominent members of the resistance against Hitler, was sentenced to death on April 8, 1945. Dinner and overnight in Nuremberg.

Depart to Regensburg on the Danube River and spend the day visiting the Cathedral and places related to the Colloquy of Ratisbon, a conference held at Regensburg (medieval name Ratisbon) in the year 1541 that focused on the different views held by Protestants and Catholics of justification by faith and the sacraments. Spend some time at the concentration camp of Dachau, called "the mother of concentration camps“ because it served as a model for all other concentration camps. Dinner and overnight in Regensburg.
